An August visit to the stunning Botanic Garden of  the National Trust.
A recent stay in Montserrat offered the chance for a return visit to the Montserrat National Trust and its beautiful pleasant gardens.
The grounds boast a wonderful selection of herbs and plants that have contributed to the economy of the island. Some of the exceptional range of plants are only found deep in the Centre Hills of the Island.
With great dedication, the Montserrat National Trust team reminds us the importance of plants, not only for the Island of Monteserrat, but for the development of human life.
A wide selection of healthy plants are available for purchase in the exquisite Botanic Garden ground.

Montserrat is part of the chain of islands called the Lesser Antilles in the West Indies.
This island measures approximately 16 km (9.9 mi) long and 11 km (6.8 mi) wide.

Impressive views of the destruction of Plymouth can be viewed from the top of Garibaldi Hill in Isles Bay, from the MVO (Montserrat Volcano Observatory) from Jack Boy Hill and from the sea.

Montserrat is nicknamed the Emerald Isle of the Caribbean both for its resemblance to coastal Ireland, for its lush green landscape and for the Irish ancestry of its inhabitants.

Plymouth

A boat trip along the coast will reveal the lunar landscape of Plymouth.
The desolate landscape is a testimony of the magnitude and the force of the explosion of the Soufriere.
